- JARCC

- Confirmation
of times each club uses the facility were done.
- We
were reminded that all requests to use the facility must be given in
writing and go through the JARCC
- Buddhist Fellowship –Sharon Akiyama
- The next Sunday service is on March
4th at 5:30.
- Hanamatsuri is on April 9th. Brian Nagata will be residing.

Feed will be on Sunday 2/26/06. Lunch will be from 11:30
a.m
to 1:30 p.m. Tickets available from any Jr. YBA member. Adults:
$6.00 pre-order, and $7.00 at the door. Seniors and Children: $4.00 pre-order
and $5.00 at the door. Take-out will be
$3.00

- Thank you to all that attended the Holiday party.
- The school has openings in all the
classes grade K-12
- The school has books that are free
for anyone that is interested. If
not picked up in the next 2 weeks, they will be donated.

Shaughnessy dinner is March 5th.
Chicken dinners will be sold for $7.50 and can be picked-up either
at the JA club or at Ygnacio
Valley
High School. Please look for the order form in the
gym foyer. All dinners must be pre-ordered.
- Building
Superintendent –Ted Uemura
- There
continue to be break-in of cars in the parking lot. DO NOT leave valuables in the car in
plain view! Most recently, a
ladies purse was taken from the front seat of a car during a Sunday
afternoon basketball game. This was after the window of the car was
smashed.

- The
2006 calendar is available now, with Diablo being photographed in the
month of December
- The
annual crab feed is on Feb. 12th in Oakland. Raffle tickets
are being sold.
- Judo
Club – Leslie Hisaka
- Thank
you to Ted Uemura for giving the judo club a large locker to store their
supplies. We are very grateful.
- Students
will be attending the 58th annual San Jose Buddhist Judo tourney
on February 12th at San Jose
State.
- Diablo
Kendo Club –Mike Espinosa
- Congratulations
to Adriene Aono who was selected to the National Team who will be going
to Taiwan in December 2006!

March 25h at SACBC the annual event for the Shinnen kai expects 500

Old Business
- Installation Dinner had 80 sign-up and 78
attended. It was enjoyed by
all! Thank you to California Bank
and Trust for their donation , Suwa’s Restaurant for the fabulous food and
their donation of gift certificates and clothing for the raffle, Bea
Tamachi for the beautiful corsages, Judith Aono and Pat Baba for being
President, and Eric Tamichi for his great job as MC.

Graduation Dinner is planned for Sunday June 4th
at the Contra Costa Country Club.
